A. Electrical Outdoor Isolators

Electrical Isolator is a piece of equipment or an arrangement used in devices and power systems to isolate two circuits or load from the power supply. The main function of an electrical isolator is to isolate two different circuits from each other. Or to isolate a part of the circuit from a power system. Generally, an electrical isolator mainly indicates a mechanical switch and they also designed with electrical arrangements. The main design consideration is its contacts should be open to visible. There are so many electrical equipment’s, devices such as circuit breakers, contactors, etc. are available. They also can isolate the circuits. Then why we required Electrical Isolators. The main reason is visibility. We cannot see the contacts of the circuit breaker or contactor if they are open or close. To make sure the circuit is completely disconnected, electrical isolators are used.

B. Introduction: Electrical LT Transformer

The Distribution Transformers are important links in the chain of power distribution systems. The power, which is transmitted at high voltage, stepped down 430 volts with these distribution transformers. These are manufactured in a variety of capacities and voltage ranges.

MARKET POTENTIAL:

iv) Interest on term loan and working capital loan has been taken at the rate of 12% on an average. This rate may vary depending upon the policy of the financial institutions/agencies from time to time.
v) The cost of machinery and equipments refer to a particular make / model and prices are approximate.
vi) The break-even point percentage indicated is of full capacity utilization.
vii) The project preparation cost etc. whenever required could be considered under pre-operative expenses.
viii) The essential production machinery and test equipment required for the project have been indicated. The unit may also utilize common test facilities available at Electronics Test & Development Centres (ETDCs) and Electronic Regional Test Laboratories (ERTLs) and Regional Testing Centres (RTCs).

The following presumptions have been taken in to account –

i) Voltage Range – 11/0.433 KV.
ii) Capacity Range – 25 KVA to 250 KVA.
iii) Basis of calculations – 100 KVA.

C. Introduction: Electrical LF Transformer

Generally electronic equipments like Transistor, tape recorder, television and other sophisticated equipments are operated on low DC voltage. The DC low voltage can be obtained by two ways i.e. (i) Rechargeable / Dry Batteries and (ii) conversion from A.C. supply. Rechargeable battery is used where electricity is not available. This power source has many draw backs and is also costly. As State Government is going to pay more attention on electrifying the city and rural areas so other DC source i.e. from AC is very cheap and easy to handle. This low DC voltage is achieved from high 220 AC voltage by using a transformer along with rectifier and filter. This transformer is called LF step down transformer which reduces AC high voltage to AC low voltage without change of frequency. This slow voltage is rectified and filtered to get DC voltage.

1. MARKET POTENTIAL:

With rapid electrification in the State, the use of tape recorders, two-in-ones, television, transistors and other consumer electronics, the demand for this product is on the increase.
